From the trash we collected during the field trip, we found algae growing on plastic and got inspired. We had the same interest to go by the topic of the interaction between man-made things and natural things. At first, we tried to grow mycelium on different kinds of foam plastic and paper. We also experimented with growing algae on plastic and made fermentations. Over time, we wanted to focus on plastic and developed further our interest in researching water pollution, focusing on the River Maas. Finally, each of us decided to create a bunch of environments in jars (water + plastic + plantation/ algae). Some of them grew, some failed, and some did not fit into our theme, but the chosen ones can be seen in Our Archive.
